Personal websites are funny things, and though I have had one since 1995, I think their purpose has changed a bit.
My reason for having a personal site now is that it should act as a catalyst for the exchange of information with people who are interested in the same topics and kinds of things that I am. These can generally be divided into a small number of areas. Some are personal (and therefore restricted to family members), some are academic and research oriented, some relate to WYSIWYG News and my travel writing in there, and then there are my hobbies.
That's me on the left, as captured by Les Maiden, the head photographer at Victoria University of Wellington. .
I hope you will find something of interest in my pages, and will forgive its obviously unfinished nature.
