Formed in 1999, regularly plays at venues throughout the Southland Province.

NEMESIS (Something to do with paybacks for refusing to grow up?)

The current line up of Nemesis Band has many collective years of experience as semi - professional musicians.

Denis recently returned from the Dunedin band scene plays Bass and guitar and has played with numerous bands in the southern region.

Brandon has been part of many bands in the North Otago, South Canterbury and Invercargill areas playing lead and rhythm guitar and sings as well. He has played a wide variety of styles of music over the last 18 years.

Cindy is the vocalist for the band and is also playing rhythm guitar.

Her fluent singing ability shows from her experience with local country clubs, theatre and stage presentations in Southland.

Neil AKA “Mouse” has freelanced for many local bands over the past 20 years. Bands he has formed and played in of note are Party line, Dr Rhythm, Full House, Virtual Reality, Pitchfork to name a few. Also a playing member of the Mataura Kilties Pipe Band.

Cindy and Neil have been working committee members of the Southland Musicians Club involved in stage shows and club presentations.

The bands musical strength is their versatility to play music to suit the audience at hand. With a wide repertoire covering songs from country, rock and roll, middle of the road, contemporary top 40, rock, old time and other styles such as blues, punk, Irish, etc.etc.as the host requests.

Entertaining and fun, the band is able to play for any private function, party, pub venue, formal occasion, etc.
