Who Am I ?
The good news is that many of your problems, including
your desperate search to find Mr elusive,
is that you either don’t have a notion or have lost sight completely,
of who you are. You’ve got yourself all tied up with thinking you’re
just a body, and even less than that on
bad day – a ‘no-body.’
Don’t get me wrong, no one is setting out to give
the body a bad rap - on the contrary, the aim when you’ve finally
contacted your ‘inner Goddess’
is for fully expressed embodiment!
However if you haven’t quite reached that point
& are still ‘just’ identified as a body then you are in
serious trouble because as you know, there are some major flaws in that
self-concept …. Wrinkling, aging & dying being just a few that come to mind.
By the way, finding your knight in shinning armour gets a whole lot easier when you shift your identity
from Miss or Ms unloveable to a divine SELF
capable of mainlining any one of a number of Goddess archetypes!
In natural divine order, which I agree is about a trillion
light years from the chaotic dis-order of
your version of reality, finding your ideal other half follows this
same Divine system. Where would Venus be without Mars, Rhada
without Krishna? Every Goddess has her God-man...where? The same place
the Goddess is found ..within YOU.
But really how do you go looking for your elusive God-Man,
your Mr Right, when even Mr
Right-now feels elusive on a bad day?
So lets first get back to this
question of Identity.
Who Are You?
Some of you better hope that ‘you create your own
reality’ is DEFINITELY 'not' true otherwise a mis-identification
& impersonation with your 'Im
not good enough self’ will create an abundance of 'theyre
not good enough' life & male reflections.
Admit it, if most of your energy which is really hell
bent on covering up how you 'really' feel about yourself, were let loose,
forget seeking out the ‘perfect mate’ or life or relationship
– its more like ‘perfect misery’ that your minds outpicturing
is up for!
To unravel the tangled mystery of your
“real-self’ lets look at the not so mysterious source of much
of your problem.
So long as you ‘think’ that you are a body
& have to DO ANYTHING in order to be loved ……then you
are looking for love & towards solutions that aren’t to be
found.
The problem is not only that we have a confused sense
of who we are (or 'think' we are), its that we spend so much time &
energy as well, propping up this 'less than perfect' self-image.
We dress it up like a mannequin in a shop window, trying
to make out that we ‘think’ its worth
something.
We spend an inordinate amount of time re-arranging our
'shop window' hoping some passerby will notice & come in. We work
at it so much that we sometimes believe or buy into our own marketing
programme about ourselves & get really pissed off when
others don’t?
Over time our 'illusory self' gets re-inforced by our emotional investments. Our emotions put a
charge behind what we think we want, then that gets projected ‘out
there’ & we go looking for it.
Its like the store manequin
whose smashed out of the shop window & goes out walking, thinking she's real.
More dangerous than that ... goes out walking, looking
for a man!
In the above scenario, when your life mirror reflects
back images of lack, or of not being good enough, originating from your
own ‘ideas’ about your-self …. Who is there to blame…really?
The feelings of powerlessness or hopelessness maybe so
overwhelming that the usual step is to try harder or manipulate even
more to get what you want.
These feelings arise when you think you have no control
over what’s happening ‘out there’ when in reality its
really your script!
So often your mirror reflects rejection.
Ah, now we have an interesting twist in the plot.
You’ve become so skilled & so convinced by your
own generated thoughts & reflections that you 'think' things are
being done 'to you.' In reality when it comes to rejection, you are
the one who is masterful at it. Its you that
each day continunuously rejects the magnificence of your ‘real’
inner Self. Your outer screen screams of rejection but you don’t
get its you rejecting YOU.
What you accept instead is your poor distorted, self
created victimized reflection.
We feel powerless if we ‘think’ we cant
change what’s outside of us, even more powerless if we ‘know’
we cant. Power begins to return to us once we recognise
where & from who, the images are proceeding
from. OUR OWN THOUGHTS … especially about our-selves!
Authentic power returns the more we realise this & turn inward to face the Self we seem so
hell bent on rejecting.
This is a central life mystery & the ultimate twist
in your life plot!
Your ‘real’ Self, a Divine Self has been waiting
patiently until either all our petty & unreal ideas about ourself have been exhausted, or until we are!
The most amazing things you will come to realise -its that the very thing
you have felt lacking &-missing - is you!
In fact this is Self-Realisation.
What perfection …. the
very thing you find, in the last place you expected to find it, is YOU
and for perfection to be perfection …your God-Man must be in just
as close proximity. But that’s another story ….
True inner ‘Self-Awareness’ begins to unravel
the truth about Who You Are…. Which
is ESSENTIALLY DIVINE.
The truth about you is far more wondrous, more un-imagineable than anything your ‘little self’ could
have come up with!
The end point on your journey of ‘Self Discovery’
reveals a veritable
Goddess, but didn’t you ‘somewhere’ really know that!?
It’s the Goddess that knows her inner divine connection
& unfolds it, outpicturing everything
that is good beautiful & true.
Centered in her divinity she allows life to flow through
her. With absolute trust that the best & highest will unfold for
her she surrenders to what is ...and doesn't try to 'control' outcomes
or her experience.
The goddesses screen reflects growing wonder, magic synchronicities
& miracles that no amount of control or manipulation could possibly
create, or a little mind concieve of.
It is the Higher self, the Goddess
‘re-awakened’ who has knowledge of divine ideas. In
her wisdom she knows that its the same Divine intelligence that spins
galaxies, that makes the sun to rise in the morning & the grass
grow, who regulates the spheres & guides universes ... & who
can & does guide her and will guide YOU.
It’s this divine beat that pulses silently in your
heart, waiting there in its innermost chamber for your re-cognition,
like a beacon calling you back to your re-memberance.
Here in your secret place you find the Goddess seated
with true vision. A vision of herself which is 'lovely,'
a vision of herself which is real.
Let your mirror reflect only your heavenly self, let
your life unfold from this heavenly place and be filled with the scent
& aroma of Home.
Holding the hand of your inner Goddess - let her reveal
to you an earthly life that mirrors back to you, only this splendour!
So how do you connect & stay connected with your
inner Divine Self & Goddess realm?
Stillness, from incessant mind chatter & emotional
turmoil is the first prerequisite for entering the inner gates.
A mood of reverence helps to cross the barrier from outer
activity to inner peace.
Emotional activity stirs up your screen. A quiet emotional
mirror allows your personal screen to reflect more of the divine
life, the Higher or Divine Self. A clear mirrored surface is capable
of reflecting more divine, soul qualities.
Initially creating some outer space, a special place
to open & enter … simply a small altar with flowers &
candles & other items of beauty, sets the intention to commune inwardly
& begins what finally becomes a life intention & journey.
Life more & more becomes a process of re-memberance with any moment & all acts throughout your
day, providing an opportunity to re-connect & more creatively express
Your-Self!
An increasingly unimpeded flow, no longer blocked by
the resistance builds a bridge from the inner world, outward.
The quality of energy that radiates from your inner world
transforms your experiences with a wisdom that no clever brain ‘organiser’ could ever work out.
Thankfully your brain isn't a font of creativity - its not a source or ‘the’ source, that’s something
you’ll find when you begin to move towards that which lies more
deeply ‘inward.’
We all know the place where thinking stops & 'inspiration’
begins. Poets inventors & great artists
know this place. When the brain stops its incessant chatter & resistance
falls away, then in this dynamic stillness we are an open receiver,
a channel for more divine impression & expression.
Our previous personal collection of data backed up by
our personal take & feelings about it, forms the basis of not just
our prior illusions about our-selves & the world, but our disillusions.
As much as we gave it our best shot & really ‘tried’
to self generate cleverer more 'marketable' personal packages to present
ourselves to the world, the truth is that our own ideas, no matter how
cleverly constructed don’t even come close to the much more amazing
truth about Who You Are!
Truth is found through inner direct experience.
It’s really just be-coming ''aware' of that which
already Is.
This awareness of this innermost Self 'is' called Self-
awareness.
Inner Self- awareness takes place through a process of
revelation. That’s what revelation is.
It’s the process whereby the truth of who you are
is revealed to you.
Feelings of emptiness make sense & can be seen for
simply what they are …. indicators that you somewhere you have been blocking yourself
off & resistant to your own inner life inner truth & inner creative
source.
Divine discontent is a wonderful thing, if you recognize
it for what it is. Its only when you have pursued
your wish list with avengence & still
found yourself wanting, that your inner search for deeper meaning begins.
Only then when all outer routes have been exhausted,
or you are, do you turn within.
The more we seek relationship with this inner realm,
the more we come into relationship with our true nature.
Certainty takes the place of doubt as uncertainty disappears
in the wake of steady & at times stupendous inner moments &
momentum.
The more you contact, trust & surrender to the goddess
- sensing & opening to her inner wisdom - the more your life will
take on a happier more joyful complexion.
Contact with the goddess naturally brings you in synch
with her rhythms. With more of her vision - looking out from your eyes
will increasingly reveal the goddess view. A naturally stronger healthier
body & a life flamed by your inner light & divinity. With your mind & body,
once again be a fit dwelling for the Goddess
hidden within it, unsuspected beauty arises within you.
Turn your face for just a moment from the illusory collection
of ragged thoughts & feelings & face homeward & walk upon
the lighted way.
Day by day, come to know your-Self, face to face, seeing
in your-Self a newer lovelier vision, yet at the same time feeling more
your-Self than ever!
Everything divine is beautiful and the more you're in
touch with your own essential divinity the more you will find beauty within & without.
Beauty is an inherent & natural expression & outpicturing of your the Divine Self.
Everytime you reach
inward to link & deepen your ‘inner relationship’ try
to model, to paint according to the highest you can reach & make
yourself akin to the divine rhythms gently pulsing, & calling to
you from within.
True beauty is ever new. It’s a decision tested
by the question -'Will this result in Beauty?' Anything else becomes
seen as simply the mismanagement of your mind & affairs.
Rather become like the poet, the lover, the artist or
the sculptor, carving beauty out of words or stone.
Let your life become your studio and your earthly life
a paint-pot for your soul’s divine hand.
The more you are in touch with your own essential divine
beauty, the more you will fashion a life that is so.
It is only in the fullness of your true Self-identity,
in the truth of Who You Are, that truly you can and will find freedom.
