Kiwi director Lee Tamahori opens the sports pubs wndow and gives the "Once Were Warriors" franchise a much needed breath of fresh air. Early production photography has Jake "The Muss" Heke onboard an out of control cruise liner, held hostage by madman Willem Dafoe. Tamahori admits it is a drastic turnaround from the previous films gritty realism, but is sure that he will gain more fans with the new action element. After the box office dissapointment of the second Warriors film, "A Night Out Feefing", producers were keen to inject a little more "Razz-a-ma-tazz" to the daily lives of the Heke family. Release of "More Once were Warriors : Pacific Cruise" is currently set for Summer 2001. release.
