IQ Prison System

System Description
The Ingenious Solutions Integrated System Package is a fully integrated Computer Control Package operating on a Windows NT platform. For a very large system the database is operated and reside on a Windows NT Server. The system operates on multiple workstations. Each of the workstations can be configured to controlling individual Cell Blocks. Using password access an Officer with a higher level password can takeover control of higher level functions from any workstation.
The Network Domain functions are setup with DHCP allowing workstations to log on to the system under network server assigned TCP/IP addresses, maintaining a high level of security against hacking in the event the system is accessed via modem. A firewall setup is also likely if the system is to be utilized for online use.
Home Prison System Intercom MATV Nurse Call Sound Security Asset Tracking Related Sites When installed as a server based Windows NT system, the Ingenious Solution Integrated Package can take full advantage of the Windows NT Network Functions, i.e. multiple client operation, multitasking, SQL, etc.
The development of our Integrated Package offers all possible control functions and features that may be required.
These include:
1. Full Site control functions, which link gates, intercom, cameras, alarms and status monitoring relating to a particular site. By calling up a site from the control room, all linked functions are available to the operator simultaneously, allowing the operator to control, speak, view, and monitor each site as it presents itself.
2. Access Control system allowing the managed access of personnel. The Access Control package offers all the standard Access Control functions as normally available in an Access Control package.
3. Built into the Integrated Control Package is a full camera controller module. Special proprietary software has been written to simulate a Pelco keyboard and it's functions. It is therefore possible to control cameras from the convenience of the computer keyboard, eliminating the need for a further camera controller. The camera controller module allows the operator to select cameras, monitors, pan and tilt, zoom, focus and also wipe functions.
4. From the convenience of the control room, it is possible to control all doors and gates, be it an impulse door lock, strike or gate or a sallyport. Gate control is a standard feature of the Integrated Package.
5. Alarm Monitoring.
6. Lighting Control. Individual and Global control of lighting.
7. Guard Tour or Pegging System
8. Raid Alarm and Panic Alarm
9. Door Status Monitoring. Global Status pages offering the operator to easily and simple view a page status of all gates and doors
10. Alarm Status Monitoring. Global Status pages offering the operator to confirm all alarms are armed by simply viewing the alarm status page.
11. Intercom Request
12. Fire and Smoke Alarm Monitoring
13. Takeover Functions. This feature is available and used in large institutions, whereby a second control room can takeover the functions of a primary control room in the event of an internal prison riot closing of specified areas within the institution.
14. Emergency Sirens. The system can be configured to sound Specific sirens within the institution.
15. Fire Egress Routes.
