Mr Sew Hoy sen  aged 75   --- business commenced by his father in 1869,  and took over the business from his father in 1902,  ---  The late Mr Sew Hoy
came to NZ in 1882,  went to Lawrence,  married Louisa Mong in 1899  -----   survived by his widow,  5 sons, 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

BOYD -  Robert Hugh,  age 65 of Blenheim,   suffered fatal head injuries  on a crossing in Christchurch,  ------   no relations living in NZ  -------

Arthur Albert,   --- in his 70th year --licensee of Grand Hotel,  Dunedin  from 1924 to his death -- born Ballarat, Australia,  came to Dunedin in 1898  with Sargood, Son  & Ewen Ltd,  later went to Invercargill until 1911,  --------- took a prominent part in the 1914 General elections ----     survived by his widow (Miss Mitchell)  of Invercargill,  one son mr Frank Paape,  2 sons,  Squadron-Leader Arthur Mitchell Paape,  DFC and bar,  and Pilot-Officer John Mitcell Paape  were killed on operations  within 3mths of each other in Word War 11.
