http://www.linuxdoc.org/ is the homepage of the Linux Documentation Project. Here you will find HOWTO documents that will answer most of the common Linux installation and configuration questions.
http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ is the Linux Laptop Home Page. You will find links to documents about running Linux on almost every type of Laptop computer.
http://theory.uwinnipeg.ca/search/linux-search.html is where you will find Linux Search. You can search for applications, utilities and documentation at sunsite.unc.edu, tsx-11.mit.edu and nic.funet.fi, as well as the Debian, RedHat and Slackware distributions.
http://www.XFree86.org/ is the homepage of the XFree86 project. XFree86 is a freely redistributable implementation of the X Window System for UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems.
http://www.compaq.com/ is the official Compaq web site. They have information about the older laptops including the LTE Lite range. If the following URL's are no longer valid, you should return to the the main page and use the search engine.
