Capers were full day activities, which we had on our first day at Clan 2002. These included such things as, horse riding, tertiary tripping, gold mining, kayaking, and aviation and, for all our international students, exploring Dunedin. As this was our first day we were sure to sleep the night.

|
| We also got to choose two hoots, which were half-day activities,
and which included the same things as we were able to choose from for the
capers. That way we all got to try three neat things.

In some cases the weather interrupted the initial plans for the
hoots and capers - the paint-ballers were unable to paintball and instead
went swimming! And in the case of the windsurfers there was no wind so instead
they were able to practice balancing on their boards. But everyone was still
able to have loads and loads of FUN!!!
