REPORTS OF AURORA AUSTRALIS SEEN DURING
Nov 1 11:00 Beams of faint white, striated light angled up from slightly south of west and pulsing in brightness the whole extent of their length. There were six or seven of these at a time spread across 30° to 40° azimuth and 40° to 60° elevation.

Nov 10 08:00 to 10:00 Very faint auroral glows. Colourless to the naked eye but in photographs they appeared red with blue upper parts.
