Nov 2 12:00 to 13:00 Bright glow between clouds in S to SW.
                (S46.9 E168.1) - Horseshoe Bay, Stewart Is, New Zealand

Nov 4 13:45 to 14:00 Glow SSE to SSW to 10 elev. IBC 1. Strong line in spectroscope.
                (S45.8 E169.3) - Edievale, West Otago, New Zealand

Nov 6 09:00 Very bright green-white glow S to SW. IBC 3. Slight movement and small rays in SW.
                (S45.9 E170.5) - Dunedin, New Zealand
                Bright white glow all evening seen through light cloud.
                (S46.4 E169.8) - Otekura, South Otago, New Zealand

Nov 12 08:45 White glow S and SW.

Nov 20 08:00 Bright green glow in S despite Full Moon. After staring at it for awhile one wide white ray appeared up to 75 elev and then vanished.

Nov 21 09:30 As twilight turned to night a green arc was visible ESE to SW up to 40 elev.
            10:30 Arc still present. some rays appearing in SW starting about 5 above horizon and reaching to 20 or 30.
            11:00 Arc with rays. Some slight movement and occasional fluctuations in brightness.
            11:05 Rays SE to SW thicker in some areas than others, often spaced apart by between 5 and 10.
            11:10 'Curtains' with rays reaching up to 60 on occasions. Some side to side movement. Occasionally bright enough to obscure Southern Cross!
            11:15 Some very bright rays in SSW; green at bottom and red at top, reaching to the zenith.
            11:30 Activity reducing. Green glow on horizon. Occasional rays.
            11:45 Glow. Ceased observing.

Nov 25 12:30 Sky cloudy in S but Glow IBC 2 along horizon. Strong line in spectroscope.
            13:45 to 14:00 Faint widespread glow. Too faint for spectroscope.
