Mar 7 09:10 Glow on horizon SE to SW, IBC 1.
            09:15 Short rays along horizon.
            09:18 Glow low, now IBC 3. Rays to 45 elev. Strong auroral line in spectroscope.
            09:20 Rays now fading. Glow IBC 2 confined to S. Ceased observing.

Mar 9 09:30 Faint glow SE to SW.
            12:30 Bright arc on horizon SE to SW. IBC 3. No rays. Strong auroral line in spectroscope.
            14:00 Glow still on horizon. Ceased observing.

Mar 10 08:30 Glow SE to SW. Mostly cloudy. Strong auroral line in spectroscope.
            09:00 Thin overcast cloud. Spectroscope line suggests a fairly wide-spread glow.

Mar 15 10:30 White rayed band low in E to high in SSE, white glow in S below horizontal, white patch in S high up, white rayed band high in SSW to low in SW, white glow in W. Pilot saw a gold tint.
