(S45.8 E169.3) - Edievale, West Otago, New Zealand (A) Ray faded. It got bright in SE and faint in W. In a few seconds it was bright in W and faint in E. It went on like this from 0715 to 0750.
(S45.7 E169.4) - Moa Flat, West Otago, New Zealand Broad greenish-white glow IBC 3, SE to 260 deg az. Curved top of auroral glow with a maximum height of 15 deg with a minimum height of 12 deg at both SE and 260 az.. The whole glow is shaped like a large dome. Accompanied by faint partical arcs of IBC 2 in SE and W, above the large glow. Each partial arc was 3 deg width, 15 deg length and concentric to curved top of "dome" glow, separated by a gap of 1 1/2 deg above dome.

(S45.1 E171.0) - Oamaru, North Otago, New Zealand Arc stretched from Scorpius in E to Orion in W and reached 80 deg above horizon. The arc disappeared about 0820 and the glow seemed to disappear around 0930 as cloud blocked out further observation.
